My big achievement today – I didn’t eat a Robin Egg! You know, those candy-coated-malt-ball kinda thingys….The kids had some in their Easter Eggs and the leftovers have been hidden in my dresser drawer for weeks. And each day I have grabbed a handful and enjoyed them immensely. But today – I did NOT open that dresser drawer and I did NOT eat one! If I am really really good, I will throw out that bag tomorrow. But for today, I will be happy that I did not eat one!
I also got my exercise class in, I went to Jazzercise 🙂 That picture is me taking a picture of the door…I totally forgot to take a picture while I was in class, and taking a picture holds me accountable somehow in my brain, so I took one of the way out! Silly, I know!
I have had several people in Jazzercise class ask me where I have been – and I answered honestly. I have been pouting. It makes me feel so silly to say it out loud. But, like I told you guys, I stopped exercising because I was pouting about the fact that I haven’t lost any weight in YEARS. So, I stopped. And my weight stayed the same. Can we say FRUSTRATING?! But, I realized that I feel better about ME when I exercise, so I am back on track 🙂
Today I drank my 48 + oz of water, I had a fabulous lunch actually – (I have been meeting the kids at school this week for lunch – so I need something that transports easily), I had Chobani yogurt filled with fresh blueberries, a cup of that yummy Skinny Pop Popcorn, my apple slices with cinnamon (Thanks for that suggestion Bev!), and a cheese stick. My lunch was loaded with protein and actually kept me full until my usual snack time of about 5pm ish…when I had a half cup of the popcorn.
Dinner was Chicken stuffed with mushrooms and prosciutto and a huge salad!
What are some of your favorite salad toppings? I am usually dried fruit or fresh fruit, a little cheese and dressing – I would love to hear how you spice up your salads!
Have you started your Healthy Life Journey? If not, I hope you just think about it…a healthy LIFE doesn’t mean just changing what you eat…it may not mean changing what you eat at all…it means finding a healthier and happier YOU!
