Happy Monday! If those two words can go together 😉 I am very excited to say that I have officially moved up to my 6 lb weights at Jazzercise. I did it once last week and survived and I did it again today. I am looking forward to a little soreness tomorrow – but I am all for it! Time for some sculpted arms for those tank tops!
I actually had a pretty good day overall, I made Quinoa for the first time…my mom has been telling me for MONTHS that I had to try it. But honestly, I just thought it looked weird 😉 So, yesterday I made a beautiful chilled quinoa salad loaded with some veggies and I had it for lunch today and it was FABULOUS! I will have enough for lunch tomorrow too, so that works for me. I will have the recipe for you this week. My mom has already texted and asked me for it too, so I will have it up – promise! I even used my Coconut Oil instead of olive oil when I made it 😉
I got my water in today, and I also am working on trying Coconut Water (post coming up on that soon!) and I am trying to get in a glass of milk a day. I swear I think I will float away some days!
We also had Cub Scouts tonight, this is the last class before graduation, so they learned some about airplanes, then took them outside for test flights! It was a beautiful night for it too. The current leaders are trying to convince me to be the Treasurer next year and I am not totally excited about the idea, but I hate to leave them hanging! So, the application is sitting in my truck….calling to me. Have you been a chairperson for a child’s group before? Pointers?? I would love to hear them!
Ok, well, I am off to get ready for bed…I am trying to decide if I want to brave a run in the FL weather outside or just do the elliptical or treadmill tomorrow. The trouble is that I never go as far when I am indoors…and I get bored easily! I will take some pointers there too 😉
