I shared that same picture on Facebook this morning because I was I cranky. I needed something to lighten my mood, so I went for a run. It helped! Someone thought it would be cool to steal my phone at a company function (FAMILY FUNCTION) over the weekend so I am using a back-up and I have no idea what I am doing with it.
It is an iPhone, I had a Samsung and I can’t get it to work right. It needs a software update so I can’t download any apps – you have no idea how dependent you are on technology until someone takes it away from you! The thought of going for a run without any music was completely inconceivable to me in my current cranky mood so I actually went to a friend’s and borrowed her phone and armband – THANK YOU DANIELLE.
I made it just about 3.5 miles in great time and it totally helped clear my head. I will admit that I was still a bit cranky when I got home because I couldn’t figure out how to get Pandora to play (seriously!) but I managed, and now I am happily blogging, listening to music, and got some fab cardio in.
So, the time you think – “There is just no way I am getting a workout in today…” Remind yourself that you will thank yourself for it later.
